Music Under the Stars is a joint project with the El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department. Throughout the summer months, different musical performers stage an outdoor concert at no charge to the public. For a schedule of upcoming concerts, please visit www.elpasotexas.gov/mcad/music.asp.
The walking trail is a 1.8 miles and encircles the 55-acre park. Views of the Franklin and Juarez Mountains, the El Paso downtown skyline and an international bridge can be seen from the trail.
On June 3, 2006, the Memorial celebrated its first annual Family Day event. A sidewalk chalk art competition drew professional artists as well as family groups to draw their ideas of the Chamizal. And what family day would be complete without projects and snacks!
